Residents blame Kazo district Authorities over poor state of roads
Residents of Bishozi and Nsheshe parishes, Engari Sub County, Kazo district have expressed discontent over the state of the road connecting these parishes. The said Road from Kaicumu- Nsheshe –Akati is currently in a terrible state, as the bridge at Entunga is impassable and resident say they have been struggling with it since 2005.
According to residents, school going children have always missed going to school due to failure to use this road and bridge, the transportation of their agricultural products, as well as access to services have failed due to the impassable road. Residents blame district authorities for failure to work on the state of this bridge and the road even after many promises to work on this matter.
Seth Byaruhanga, the Secretary for Works Kazo District noted that as the district Roads Committee, urged residents to be calm saying there are plans of constructing a new bridge, install culverts to sort out this problem.
