National Unity Platform (NUP) Party President, Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has asked leaders to resist all forms of corruption in public administration if the developmental policies are to be achieved.

Kyagulanyi made these remarks today during the presentation of the Alternative National Budget Priorities for 2024/25 at Parliament. At this function, the leader of Opposition Joel Ssenyonyi, the Opposition Chief Whip John Baptist Nambeshe among other leaders of the opposition were present. 

Leader of Opposition, Joel Ssenyonyi was heard criticizing the government for proposing new taxes without showing any service delivery for the taxes collected. Ssenyonyi said it is not right for the government to put taxes on every item, giving an example of traders who have been protesting over high taxes.
