Police in Rubirizi District have arrested a 19 year old man on allegations of defiling a 7 year old girl.

The suspect only as identified as Mbabazi 19, a casual labourer and resident of Kyambuzi B Village, Kichwamba in Kichwamba Sub County in Rubirizi District is said to have defiled a 7 year old girl on February, 5th, 2024.

Matial Tumusiime, the Greater Bushenyi police Spokesperson confirmed this incident that saying that on that day, the victim was grazing goats where she found the suspect who was also grazing goats and he allegedly defiled her.

Tumwesigye Macksensia 39 a resident of the same area eported the case to police and the suspect was arrested as investigations continue. Meanwhile the report from medical tests for the victim proved that she was defiled.
