Residents of Kagunga cell, Muhanga Town council in Rukiga District where left in shock when they found a nurse in her room dead. Rubarema Dezideria, 48, a resident of the same area confirmed to journalists that Naturinda Christine, 24, attached to Karorwa HCII and a resident of Kagunga cell , in Muhanga Town council in Rukiga District was found in her room dead.

It's alleged that on 18/07/2023 at night, Naturinda entered her house, did not lock the door and she slept. Elly Maate, the Kigezi Region police Spokesperson told journalist that on 19/07/2023 at around 11 am a neighbor who got concerned tried to call Naturinda but she didn't respond and he decided to enter the house where he found her lifeless body laying on her bed.

Police Officers from Bukinda Police Post visited the scene, took the body to Kabale referral Hospital for autopsy as investigations into the cause of Naturinda's death have commenced, the case has been registered at Rukiga district police station under reference number CRB 325/2022.
