Security guard shoots himself dead over unknown reasons
Police in Kiruhura District have commenced investigations to determine reasons as to why a security guard allegedly shot himself dead.
Mushabe Gilbert, 20, has been working with an undisclosed SACCO as a security guard in Rwemamba, Kitura Sub County in Kiruhura District and his body was found with gun wounds.
The deceased was a resident of Kabaare village in Karwenshanga in Rubindi- Ruhumba Town Council, Mbarara District. According to residents in Rwemamba, they found the body of Mushabe lying in front of a SACCO building he was guarding, with gun wounds. The reasons why this security guard allegedly shot himself dead are still unclear.
By Press time, Kiruhura Central Police Station had arrived at the scene investigating.
