UCE transition examinations to be done in October/November
The Uganda National Examinations Board has announced the postponement of Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) transition examinations, the exams that are organised to give a chance to candidates who failed UCE 2023 to sit for others, those who registered but did not sit for finals and adult learners studying independently.
UNEB had scheduled these exams to be done in June/July, 2024 however, it has postponed them due to different reasons including giving a chance to candidates to prepare themselves in financial matters. According to a statement released from UNEB, these exams will be done in October/November 2024.
UNEB says the postponement came after the Board's engagement with District Education Officers (DEOs), the Board made further consultations on the modalities for conducting the UCE transition examinations under the old curriculum.
