Unknown assailants kill man in Sheema

Sheema police search for assailants over murder of unknown man

Police in Sheema District are investigating circumstances under which unknown assailants allegedly killed unidentified man.

Martial Tumusiime, the Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson confirmed the incident that happened on December, 18th in Rusharara cell, Kabwohe division in Sheema Municipality. Police received information from residents there was a dead body of a male adult lying along Kabwohe-Bushenyi Road at Rusharara cell in Kabwohe division.

Police officers led by ASP Kasule Consilanta, the sheema District Police Commander visited the crime scene, recorded statements from witnesses to assist in investigations. The deceased's hands and legs were folded, with multiple injuries on the arms ,head, and the legs and this body was taken to Kabwohe Health Centre IV for postmortem.

Police say efforts to establish the identity of the deceased and to know the unknown assailants suspected to have killed him are underway.
