Worst Sub Counties in PLE results named in Bushenyi

Education Authorities in Bushenyi embark on Sensitisation to curb worst performance

Ruhumuro, Bitooma, Kakanju Sub Counties are named as worst performing Sub Counties in the just released Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) for 2023 in Bushenyi District.

Speaking to KC News reporter, the Bushenyi District Inspector of Schools Michael Matigi said Ruhumuro Sub County came at the last position noting that as Education department, they have embarked on massive sensitisation for both parents, learners, teachers, school heads in Ruhumuro to ensure that everyone takes his or her responsibility in fighting against poor performance in academics.

Matigi said this time, the district has registered a slight improvement in performance and registered decline in Grade U with 64 candidates compared to last year. He attributed the achievements to good team work among all stakeholders as far as education process is concerned.
